Emma buried her head in my chest, making me smirk.

She wasn’t the kind to be shy thus, making her like this was quite rare. This was cute however, thinking of the fact that she kept something so delicate from me was scary.

When the doctor told me those words, it made me feel lost. It reminded me of the familiar feeling that passed my chest when my wife left me... I abhorred every inch of that feeling because there was nothing for me, in it.

So painful...

Unnerving and heart wrenching...

Her yawn brought me from my thoughts.

The sun in the bright sky was starting to set. And it looked like it was going to rain anytime soon. Walking with her in the hospital arena wasn’t something I planned.

I wanted the opposite of this for her. Especially with knowing that she might not be here soon.

“Gosh, I’m so tired.” she said, stretching while I arched a brow at her.

“So,” I started, “Will you tell me the reason you kept something big as this from me?”
