Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer

The candle wax melted away slowly, Rose sat up with the sheets over her legs. Her skin oozed sweat, her brows furrowed. She felt Yseult's cold arm on her arm, she knew she couldn't keep the nightmares anymore to herself, even though she felt terrified. She peered into Yseult little eyes, and began

"I was in a dark and empty room," Rose began, her voice shaking slightly. "It was cold, and I was alone. I could hear the wind howling outside, and I could feel the chill seeping in through the walls. I was so afraid, and I didn't know where I was or how I had gotten there. All I knew was that I was trapped, and I couldn't escape."

She paused, taking a deep breath. "Then, I heard a noise. It was the sound of footsteps, coming closer and closer to me. I was terrified, not knowing what was coming."

"What happened next?" Yseult asked, her voice low and soothing.

"A shadow appeared in the doorway," Rose continued. "It was dark and without figure, but I knew it was something terrible. I wanted
