Lilith and Astrid were watching from the widow of the doors and smiled. They had been through a lot together. "They'll be okay." Lilith said and Astrid couldn't agree more. It had been another week and Malakai was finally being discharged from the hospital. He'd been stuck in the same room for so long he felt like he couldn't breathe anymore. The blond started to stir awake, her eyes fluttering as she got used to the light and he saw her boyfriend staring down at her. "What are you doing here?" Eden asked her parents who stood before her with an unreadable expression. "We wanted to see you. Is that so bad?" Eden's father said. "How did you even know where I was?" Eden asked again. It was unusual for her parents to show up here of all places. "I made Eric tell us. Don't be mad at him, we didn't give him much choice." Eden's mother said but her voice was cold. "Why? After all these years? And you even kept track of me according to Eric." Eden said. The 4 were in Malakai's main living room, no one had sat down since Eden started the questions as soon as she saw her mom and dad. Malakai was beside Eden for moral support and Eden was so grateful. "Because we found out about you being a killer. We didn't raise you to be a criminal." Eden's father said, his tone made Eden flinch.
