Hi lovelies,First and foremost I wanted to apologize. It’s been so long since I updated any stories and for that I’m terribly sorry. My personal life was flipped upside down and not in a good way. I’m slowly working on new chapters, but my personal life and health are still not where they need to be. I also went through a long time of writers block on where to go with the story; however, I know which way the story is headed. For those that continue to read my stories, I am thankful. One dark night in the middle of winter a lone male wolf ran through the snow. Eyes as dark as the night and fur to match. He carried a small bundle in his massive jaws. He fur painted red with the blood of the warriors from the Dark Knight Pack. The bundle in is mouth began to move and the whimpers of a young child could be heard in the gentle breeze. The male continued to run taking his prey with him. This child was worth the steal to him as she was powerful from birth. She was the only child of the Alpha and Luna of the Dark Knight Pack. He ran until he reached his own pack in the next state over. He had no children and his Luna had been killed months prior by his own hand. “Alpha Armand, It is so good to see you again.” Luna Claris said with a smile. I turned to her and smiled as I nodded my head in respect “It is always a pleasure to have your family visit.” She gave a sad smile when I mentioned her family. “Have you still not found your daughter?” I asked her with a look of sympathy. Alpha Wyatt looked at me and said in a low baritone voice “No, 16 years, and still no sign of our little girl.” He frowned and pulled Luna Claris closer to him. I frowned and met his gaze “I wish I could help you find her. Though it would be a miracle if she is still alive.” I said honestly. They both nodded and smiled at me. “There is always hope.” Luna Claris said softly. I smiled and nodded my head. We left the office of the pack house followed by Alpha Nate, his Beta Craig, and my Beta Jax. We entered out respective cars and headed towards the hospital in the center of town in my territory. “I can’t believe we both found our mates at the same time.” I heard a male voice speak. “I am surprised of course, but it makes sense since we are pretty much brothers.” I heard another male voice speak. I could smell an intoxicating scent. It reminded me of books, the smell after it rains, and fresh coffee. I wanted to find the source of the smell. I could feel tingles and sparks in my left hand and wondered what they were from. I laid there trying to fight through the darkness to open my eyes. I smelt him before I heard him, Alpha Nate. I wanted to scream and cry and run away, but I couldn’t move. I was paralyzed. I heard a frantic beeping then an alarm going off. I watched as Doc poked the needle into Artemis’s arm and injected the sleeping medicine. “I’m sorry my love. You need to rest. I promise you are safe.” I said just before her eyes closed. I laid her back down on the bed and sat back down. Jax shut the door as Doc took his place in the other chair again. “I apologize Alpha. I know we need answers, but that panic attack was not good for her or the pup.” Doc said as he ran a hand through his hair. I gave him a sad smile “I understand Doc. I woke up to an irritating beeping noise. I growled at the noise before slowly opening my eyes. I heard a soft chuckle as my eyes took in the room. I made a confused faced as my gaze fell upon Alpha Armand. “What?” I asked softly as his eyes locked on mine.“You just growled at the heart monitor…unless you were growling at me?” He asked with a smile. I looked over at the machine making the beeping noise and scowled at it. I heard him chuckle again and my heart did a flip. I sat in silence for a few moments before I answered him.“I was growling at the beeping because it annoyed me.”I watched as he laughed causing his shoulders to shake slightly. I let my lips tilt into a slight smile. Something in me loved seeing him laughing.“Can I leave yet?”

I smiled as I watched my lovely mate sleeping. A knock on the door had me turning my head as I said “Come in.” Jax walked in with and shut the door behind him before he sat down in the other empty chair on the other side of the hospital bed. “So how is the Luna doing?” He asked as he leaned back into the seat. I looked back towards Artemis as I spoke softly “She just went back to sleep not too long ago. I had been enjoying a nice date with Valerian. We watched a movie, had dinner, and were in my room at the pack house making out when the doorbell rang. I let out frustrated groan and pulled my shirt back on before heading downstairs to answer the door. I plastered on a smile and a cheerful voice when I opened the door and saw Luna’s parents standing there. “Good Evening Alpha Wyatt and Luna Claris, What can I do for you?” They both gave polite smiles as I moved out of the door and let them inside.
