Chapter 23

Fox Village High School was huge. I wouldn't expect anything less with the size of this community. Levi drove us to school in his Nissan Pathfinder, even though we told him we didn't mind taking the school bus. We went straight to the guidance counselor's office to get our schedules. It was the same schedule we had back home except for Driver Ed. Instead of Driver's Ed, we had different career paths. Trevor had business accounting, Libby had childcare, and I had culinary. It was a class all of us were interested in. Levi gave us a quick tour around the academy.

"Honey bear, I have been looking all over for you this morning. Why didn't you wait for me at your locker?" Some blonde-haired girl walked up to Levi.

"Don't call me honey bear, I couldn't meet you today. I had Alpha business to take care of. Let me introduce you to my new friends Louis, Libby, and Trevor. Everyone, this is my friend Stephanie." Levi's calmed demeanor shifted.
