Broken Alpha: Louis's Journey

Louis POV "Mom, where are you? '' I searched the house for my mother. All I could hear were muffled screams. I knew it was my mother screaming and crying for help. As I walked downstairs, the screams became louder. I ran outside, only to witness my mother fighting for her life. Her wolf was injured so severely that she was forced to return to her human form. The rogues dragged my mother through the dirt, ripping off her arm; another grabbed her legs, slinging her into the car. She sat up against the car, blood coming from everywhere, when a rogue rammed into her body, biting into her neck and ripping out her throat. I was so scared that I stood there and watched my mother die.My father, Grey, rushed outside to see my mother lying lifeless on the ground. A terrifying howl left out his mouth, and the look on his face was scary. Failure was not an option within our territory. Being so young, I didn't know what a rogue was, but I knew that killing my mother was not a good thing.

Louis POV I hated going home to my drunk father and his crazy wolf. You never knew which of them was in control until you saw his eyes. Derrick was ruthless and dangerous. Beta Anthony POV After dropping the twins off at school, I returned to the packhouse to pick up the Alpha for our morning treaty meeting. Upon arriving, the Alpha was still asleep. I had no choice but to attend this meeting on his behalf. I was there to listen and take notes. I could not make any suggestions without my Alpha's consent. This treaty meeting lasted an entire day. I was exhausted. I had to listen to privileged Alphas argue about land, properties, mating ceremony, and much more. The only thing everyone agreed on was hosting mating ceremonies on neutral territory, and all wolves of age must attend. Meanwhile, I received a text message from Libby that they were out of school and waiting on me. I had already told the Alpha to pick them up when I called to update him on the treaty meeting. I guessed he was running late. A few moments later, I received another text saying the Alpha picked them up. I was relieved that he didn't forget his kids at school.
