Chapter 16: ✴ TRAINING SESSIONS (PART 1)✴

Walking in the same pavement had been like a round-the-clock exercise for me. The usual charming tableau gives a peppy vibe to kickstart the day. Well, I'll have to exclude Yamiko. The guy had his brows contracted again, just affecting the atmosphere a bit.

The balmy zypher made my disheveled hair flew. I had to fix it while running since Yamiko paced briskly as if we were late for some ceremonial event.

"Would you like to slow down a bit?" I asked. His physical part might be here with me but his thought was clearly traveling somewhere else.

And just what I expected, I didn't get an answer.

"I was like talking to a being without soul," I murmured.

To my surprise he replicated, "What did you say?"

"Nothing, I was just curious how I was able to produce magic." Half lie. I was really wondering why but it wasn't what I've said earlier.

"Histories had proven that some Keriekos was engaged into romance with humans. You must have one from your ancestors who had contact with ours. That is t
