Chapter 10: ✴THE EYES WEREN'T JUST COLORS✴

It would had been like a feast. Perhaps a regale to entertain a new visitor. The problem was, the food set on the table infront of me, weren't something I see in my quotidian routine.

I didn't make any attempt to move nor touch anything. Motionless like a doll placed on her own box not until I felt Yamiko's gentle tapping on my shoulder.

"Are you engaging into some staring contest with food?" he asked.

I faked a laugh. "Really? Funny."

Ignoring my reaction, he handed me a plate full of these thingamajigs. I managed to subdue the threatening twisting of my mouth—which I'm pleased that I did cause I didn't want to look rude infront of all these keriekos. And not to mention the fact that Ruka was just infront of me, eating elegantly.
