Wynter shuddered as she read the pregnancy report. She had no idea she would become pregnant at such a young age, never alone at a time when she was still dealing with heartbreak.

Her initial inclination was to go tell her mother everything, but she held back because she was afraid she would be judged. Her parents' warnings continued to ring in her ears. They were always urging her to be cautious around him, and she was, but only after all the harm had been done.

Tears streamed down her cheeks, and she sank to the ground. She had no idea where to go or what to do.
