Axel handed Lisa a bottle of water.

Her fingers shook as she struggled to open it, so he snatched it back and unscrewed the cover before giving it back to her.

Lisa glanced up at him. The rims of her eyes were faintly red. "Thank you."

He crossed his arms and said, "You know you couldn't stand it, so why didn't you say so?"

Lisa pressed her lips together, saying softly, 'Everyone wanted to watch it."

"Are you stupid?"

"No, I am not." Lisa frowned.

"Then why do you act like you are?"

"I—i just——" She lowered her head, a soft sob escaping her lips.

"Wait, are you crying?"

"No." She had been so scared back in the movie room. Lisa has had a phobia for horrifying things ever since she could remember.

Axel got on his knees, lifting her chin up with his index finger. There were tears streaming down her face, and her nose had a glow of red.

"You are really crying. Is it because of what I said?"

"No." Lisa sniffed, wiping her face with the back of her palm. "It's not."

"Don't do that." He stop
