Chapter 2:

And as for that Alpha Levi...

Arista could only laugh out loud. She knew exactly how much power and strength resided in that body. Even though Alpha Levi could restore her hair, he couldn't change the fact that she only had a few hundred years of fairy power in her body. While that strength might be enough to defeat tiny monsters and creatures, it would take tens of thousands of years for her to try and detonate the Tunderman Tower.

Arista's nose wrinkled with a bitter feeling; recalling the moment she met Levi, she felt her life had to compensate for that moment of curiosity.

"Why were you so foolish back then? If you had captured my body, you should have stayed outside," Arista sighed, melancholy. "We could have joined forces later, and there would have been a better chance to escape."

Levi smirked, "Hasn't Red Moon pack always prided themselves on being noble and willing to sacrifice for others? And now, to escape, you didn't hesitate to join forces with me? Aren't you afraid I might harm innocent beings once outside?"

He glanced at Arista's posture and said, "Where's your dignity?"

Arista pouted, "I've thought it all through. If so, what do we need the Libras, Tauruses, and Lycan King group for? My master once said stealing someone's meal is like killing their mother. It's just not something we can do."

Levi fell silent momentarily, touching his chin, and said, "Little wolf, join me in becoming a demon. You have some talent."

"No, my master will give me to the pigs." Pausing momentarily, Arista sighed with pity, "In here, even if my master wanted to give me to the pigs, there would be no way... If you had been outside, we could have relied on the Dead Land pack to find those despicable people to help us. But now that you're inside the tower, we have no one to rely on and no way to get out."

"Who said no one in here could help you?" Levi stared intently at Arista.

Arista was dazed, "If not, then who? There's no one here." She looked around in every direction.

The stairs in the Tunderman Tower were pressed against the wall in the middle of emptiness. You could see the crystal on the top of the tower at a glance. At a glance, you could see the whole scene inside the building. If there were anyone else, you would know right away.

Levi chuckled; a slight curl of his lip made him appear arrogant. It turned out that when someone else entered his body, in an instant, he could create a genuinely different feeling.

Arista was in awe when suddenly she heard him mutter casually, "It's almost time."

Arista was about to call his name when she saw his head suddenly vanish as he stepped back onto the stairs.

"Hey, where are you going?" Arista looked at him. "Don't wander around recklessly; the tower has many enchantments... You're using my body, you know!"

No matter how loudly Arista shouted, he didn't bother to turn around.

"Hey! Levi..." Before Arista finished calling his name, Levi's head suddenly disappeared.

Arista couldn't believe it. She blinked a few times and then looked carefully. At this moment, she realized that he had disappeared at the border between the first and second floors.

So there were other realms in this tower? Come to think of it, it made sense. Even a divine creature from ancient times must have something to make it unpredictable. Arista rubbed her chin, pondering for a moment. In this tower, it appeared that you could look up to the top from the outside, but you couldn't see the second, third, or fourth floors from the first floor. If that were the case, this place might not only trap her and Alpha Levi but there might be others as well.

In Arista's memories, she had never heard her master mention activating the Tunderman Tower. This sealing business had been going on since she experienced it. Therefore, if other sealed beings were inside the tower, they must have been imprisoned here from ancient times. It would be impossible for the inmates here to be weaklings.

The Tunderman Tower has nine floors, and there may be more than just one or two individuals imprisoned there. If that Alpha Levi had a little courage, he could release all those inmates and maybe even have the ability to detonate the tower.

Arista clapped her hands, feeling a bit excited. As for what would happen after the tower was detonated and the hordes of monsters and demons were set free, how would the world cope?

Arista was still conservative and believed she couldn't take the Lycan King's place.

She was filled with anticipation, waiting for Levi to lead a grand procession of majestic monsters and demons, but he was nowhere to be seen, no matter how long she waited.

He had genuinely disappeared within the tower. Utterly silent.

Arista worried that she might never be able to return to her original body.

In her increasingly melancholic state, Arista began to doze off and dream. At times, she dreamt of her master gently watering her; at other times, she dreamt of Levi cutting off her hair. She even dreamt of that day...

On that day, the two packs were engaged in a fierce battle, and Arista, frightened, fled to the Green Forest pack—the remaining pack—only to meet Alpha Levi, who had been severely injured and killed but miraculously came back to life. He captured her without hesitation, sinking his white teeth into her neck. Arista could feel her soul leaving her body through her flowing blood. Before she lost consciousness, she faintly heard Levi speaking to his soldiers and generals, using her body, saying, "I am willing to rely on the Tunderman Tower to oversee this demon head for a thousand years of cultivation."

She wanted to scold him as if he had never embarrassed his ancestors. She still had not even lived a thousand years...

When she woke up, she sat in the labor camp while the demon head was outside.

This was an actual event, but in Arista's dream, she and the demon head were still locked in the labor camp, and their bodies had not swapped yet. Every day, this giant demon would pull the string on her collar, making a sinister smile, saying, "Are you coming with me? If you don't, I'll pluck all your hair!"

She cried bitterly, but the demon head was not moved at all. Ultimately, she didn't know what to do and had to comply with his demands. But while she was undressing, her master suddenly appeared with a sickle in hand, a grim expression on his face, saying that the muddy water couldn't flow out of the field, so it was better to cut her entirely and feed her to the pigs than let the demon head devour her.

Arista was terrified, and her face turned pale. In her horror, she suddenly heard a cold and stern voice, "Stand up."

Arista was startled, her forehead covered in a cold sweat as she sat up. The woman outside the labor camp was coldly staring at her.

"Levi..." Arista was about to say something, but she saw another pair of eyes looking at her. She tilted her head, and behind Levi was another man with black hair and a red robe.

A rescue soldier!

Those two words twinkled in her mind. The demon head had indeed found a rescued soldier to help!

However, upon closer inspection, Arista suddenly felt she couldn't smile. Even if she was ignorant of the outside world, she recognized the fire-shaped mark on this man's forehead—exiled Lycan.

The exiled Lycans were locked in the Tunderman Tower.

Arista had heard her master say that only those with outstanding grievances would become exiled Lycans. Such individuals often had distorted mentalities and warped views of life, the world, and values, and their actions were even more unpredictable than regular demons. They were not to be trifled with.

Arista secretly stepped back, and the gaze of the man in the red robe fell on her. "Oh, so there's another beautiful man here?" His tone was teasing, making Arista frown.

But before she could observe him further, he turned around, put his hand on Levi's shoulder, then slid down, skillfully pulling Alpha Levi into his arms, "Little beauty." His flirtatious eyes were so enchanting they could almost intoxicate people. "So you let me out to save him, huh? It's truly heartbreaking."

What! What does this guy want to do? He's causing a scene!

"Take your hand off me!" Arista exclaimed in anger, "Take your hand off me!" She was still an Omega she-wolf, innocent and pure; how could she let others touch her so casually?

Her soul-stirring voice attracted the attention of the two men outside the labor camp. The one who had been teasing her glanced at her but seemed to pay no attention to the advances of the person teasing him.

The man in the red robe furrowed his brow and chuckled, "Little beauty, what's your relationship with this one? You've made me curious."

"I have no relationship with her whatsoever." Levi's face turned cold, a far cry from the furious rage in Arista's eyes.

The man in the red robe looked at Arista, smiling mischievously, "Is this one trying to play matchmaker? Trying to bring us together?" He squinted his eyes, examining Arista from head to toe, then furrowed his brows slightly, "You look a bit familiar..."

"It seems you don't want to leave here, do you?" Levi interrupted him, his expression icy, "If you don't want to go, I can take you back."

"Why is the little beauty angry?" The man in the red robe withdrew his hand, "Alright then, let's discuss business. Where is the weakness of this Tunderman Tower?"

Levi took a few steps forward, reaching the tower's center, and pointed to four places with his hand, "At noon today, all four main directions will shift, especially the East direction, where the shadow of the jadeite will lean towards. When that happens, this place will become the weak point of the Tunderman Tower. By detonating this spot, the Tunderman Tower will surely collapse."

The man in the red robe rubbed his chin, pondering for a while, "Little beauty, I see that you are an Omega, so you probably don't know how the immense ch'i in this Tunderman Tower suppresses exiled Lycans like us. The stronger the power, the greater the suppression. We can only release a part of our strength at most. Are you sure you can detonate this ancient artifact in a split second?"

He hit the nail on the head, and Arista appeared doubtful.

If the Tunderman Tower could be easily breached like this, wouldn't its title as an ancient artifact be too quickly given?

Levi smirked, "Of course, you won't believe it." He said, "I will set up a formation here. When the time comes, you must use your little magic power to detonate this wall."

The man in the red robe seemed to be stunned by Alpha Levi's candid explanation. He stared at him for a while, "It's quite strange. You're not an exiled Lycan, and your strength is limited, so how do you know the weak point of the Tunderman Tower and dare to speak so arrogantly? Who are you?"

"You just need to know that we share the same purpose right now."

The man in the red robe licked his lips, and his dark eyes flicked with a mysterious light, "You are quite an enigmatic lady, really making people... deeply moved. I've encountered countless women, but I've never seen anyone with such an aura..." As he finished speaking, he took two steps towards that enigmatic lady, but as he was two steps away from her, he deliberately stumbled and cried out, "Ouch, it hurts so much, I twisted my foot." He reached out his hand towards the front, skillfully touching her chest, and the embroidered orchid pattern on the yamen was slightly revealed, showing a mysterious curve.

The man in the red robe was about to use his gaze to tease the little lady a bit more, but unexpectedly, he was met with a pair of calm, cold, and indifferent eyes.

Huh?
