Chapter Fifteen

Luka’s POV

Claire led the girl to where I sat having dinner, the guards stood at a distance and after Claire left, the girl remained fixed on the spot as if she was lost in thought or maybe even dazed from the sudden change of scenery. Her blue eyes were staring at nothing and I could smell her fear from where I sat, she looked like a mouse that had be caught off guard by its own shadow, her hands were trembling in front of her and I could see the sweat dripping down her face like raindrops through an open window.

The dress she was wearing wasn't exactly her size, it didn't look bad either , the colour was black. The fabric seemed soft and soft, almost like velvet, the embroidery on the sleeves was of gold thread, but there was something wrong with the garment.

“Sit” I told her.

She gulped visibly yet not moving an inch.
