Chapter one hundred and sixty seven

Luka's POV

Alpha Luke had agreed to our alliance. I was overjoyed. I couldn't explain the excitement I knew, my guards, Alfred and all of us hugged each other. It was a teary moment for us all. One that knew no bound.

Freedom at last and maybe we were going to be saved after all.

The seer of Lancha was a dark skinned woman with long black hair whose skin shone even in the poorly dimmed room and she was graced with deep dimples that lingered on each side of her cheeks. Her greyish-blue eyes were wide open and glowed in the candlelight as she stared up at something anyone of us could barely see.

Fear also ran through me because immediately one of her servants led us to her. Her gaze followed me around for some time before it finally turned away and focused on her hands. The servant held them out and I saw that they were still glowing a faint blue, just like mine, but they looked more solid than my ghostly glow. "King Luka, I knew this day would.
