Chapter 1

Aurelia's POV

"Do you, Aurelia Marissa Gianni, take, Judah Alessio Bianco, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"

" I do," I said then zoned out and moved as a robot being controlled by its owner for the rest of the ceremony until it was time to kiss the groom. The cold hard stare and the tight line of my husband's lips were evident enough to tell that this man didn't want to kiss me as much as I didn't want to kiss him.

Judah leaned in and with his right hand around my waist, he pulled me close to him, he grabbed my face, he is so close that I can feel his fresh peppermint breath on my face, I close my eyes on instinct preparing for the worst. He swiped his thumb over my lips, I wait for a minute anticipating the dreadful kiss but nothing happened. I only heard the loud toots and claps of our guests.

I opened my eyes to see him standing away from me with a small devilish smirk on his face and a wicked twinkle in his eyes, the bastard had played me.

"I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Judah Bianco." The claps and toots doubled after the priest's words and I did my best to blush like a new bride that was madly in love with her husband but let's not deceive ourselves, I wanted to be anywhere but at my wedding.

You're probably wondering why I was acting like I was forced to get married, the truth is I was, hold on, I'm getting ahead of myself, let me start from the beginning.

Two weeks ago

"Aurelia, I'm expecting one of the most feared men in America and this is what you choose to wear, are you trying to disgrace your sister and I?" Giovanni Gianni, my father, growled as I walked down the stairs. I looked down at what I was wearing, a t-shirt with quirky wordings on it and my favorite pair of sweatpants. I looked hobo chic. I didn't even know why I was here, Judah was coming here for my sister, not me so I was sure he wouldn't care what I was wearing.

"Father, I'm comfortable in these clothes besides his eyes won't be on me, they will be on Lucia, he won't care." I shrugged and tried to walk past him but he grabbed my arm and dragged me back.

"You don't walk away from me when I'm talking, Aurelia." He glared at me, I blanched, Giovanni was not a man to be tested when he was pissed.

"Father, it's not a problem, there's no need for Aurelia to change since Judah will soon be part of the family, it is only right that he should meet everyone in their true form. I mean not all of us can be beautiful no matter how hard we try. Love the shoes, sis." Lucia winked as she came down the stairs, looking effortlessly perfect. She was dressed in a long red dinner gown with a high slit and half of her breasts was exposed.

The frown lines on my father's face loosened as Lucia walked into the room and twirled around in front of him.

"How do I look, father?" She pouted, staring at him with her big blue eyes. He pulled her in for a hug and kissed her cheeks.

"Perfect, my dear. Simply breathtaking." I rolled my eyes at how soft his voice had gotten. I was momentarily forgotten and I tried to creep out of the room before they remembered me.

"Sis, where are you going to? Don't tell me you're trying to run off and hide." Lucia's saccharine voice rang behind me and I took in deep breaths before turning.

"Of course not, I just wanted to give you and Father some privacy." I smiled widely and approached them slowly. The doorbell rang and I stilled.

"Aurelia, get the door." My father's voice rang in my head, What! I didn't want to be the first person Judah Bianco saw as he arrived. Father and Lucia walked into the dining room leaving me alone in the living room.

"Why are you still standing there? I said get the door." His loud voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I rushed to the door and opened it, my racing heart calmed down when I saw that it was Owen, my boyfriend.

"Hey babe, what are you doing here?" I smiled and rubbed my sweaty palms on my pants. Owen gave me a glance over and smiled tightly. I stretched to kiss his lips but he turned his head and my lips met his cheek. That was odd.

"Lucia invited me, she said an important guest was coming, don't you want me here? I can leave if you don't want me." Owen frowned and his eyes saddened.

I laughed nervously, " Of course, I want you here, the more the merrier." I linked my arm with his and we went into the dining room.

Father and Lucia's faces brightened when they saw Owen, Lucia stands up and walks over to us.

"Owen, you came. I'm so glad." She hugged him and his hands went around her waist, just a little bit above her ass, holding her tightly. I felt a prickle in my chest but I shook it off. I was glad Owen and Lucia were good friends.

Father and Owen shook hands and they sat down and talked about business. Owen worked with Father as one of his made men and Father trusted him a lot.

I felt a rumble in my stomach and needed to use the bathroom.

"Excuse me, I need to use the bathroom." I stood and hurried to the bathroom, I did my business and took some breaths to stabilize myself. I heard the doorbell ring, fuck I wanted to be seated when Judah arrived. I rushed down the stairs but tripped over the last step and fell flat to the ground, hitting my palm hard.

"Fuck!" I groaned, someone laughed and I knew it was Lucia.

"Aurelia, get up this instant. Don't embarrass me." Father snapped from behind me, I winced as I tried to stand and I made a wrong move and my sweatpants ripped, revealing my Superman underwear, Lucia gasped and bursts into another wave of laughter.

I closed my eyes in embarrassment and managed to get up, my hand went to my bottom trying to cover up the tear. How could my sweatpants rip, sure they felt a little snug but I hadn't known they were that tight on me.

I turned around to see Judah standing behind me, he had a little smirk on his face, behind him stood my family and Owen. Owen was red in the face and Father looked so pissed, I was scared.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." I bowed and quickly apologized, I had given Judah an eyeful, he would probably never forget me.

"Aurelia, get out. Go and make yourself presentable." I nodded my head and hurried up the stairs, dragging my t-shirt down to cover my rip.

In my room, I fell on my bed and screamed into my pillow, completely mollified, I can't believe I just flashed Judah Bianco, the most powerful man in Los Angeles. I took my time changing into a simple black gown that covered almost every part of my body and wasn't tight. I didn't want to take any chances this time.

They were already eating when I arrived, I sat down next to Owen quietly. Judah and my father were engrossed in a serious conversation but stopped when I sat down.

"Judah, this is my youngest daughter, Aurelia." Father introduced me, he shot me a glare, and drank from his wine.

I put on my widest smile and stretched out my hand to Judah, " It's nice to meet you, Mr. Bianco." Judah raised his eyebrow at my outstretched hand and hmmed before he continued to eat.

I felt my face heat up and dropped my hand, asshole. I dished my food quickly and ate quietly blocking out the conversation around me.

"Aurelia, isn't this amazing news?" Lucia's voice snapped me out of my trance, I raised my head to see everyone staring at me expectantly.

"I'm sorry, I didn't hear what you said?"

Lucia rolled her eyes and Father scoffed.

"Of course you didn't, you were too busy stuffing your face with food. Take it easy, Aurelia, you're already not fitting into most of your clothes." Father snarled, as usual, he found a way to body-shame me. I wasn't lithe like Lucia, I was voluptuous and short. I had tried all forms of diets but I never seemed to be able to lose weight. I had come to accept and love myself but my family couldn't.

"I said that Judah and Lucia are engaged, they will be getting married soon. You know it will be good for the strongest Los Angeles Mafia and Chicago Mafia to have an alliance. Lucia will make the perfect wife for Judah." Father said, reaching over to squeeze Lucia's hand as she smiled at him.

I turned my face, scoffed quietly, and rolled my eyes, Judah chuckled. I glanced at him to see him looking at me with amused eyes. I shot him a glare before I realized what I had done.

I turned sharply to Lucia, " Lucia, I'm so happy for you. Congratulations to you, Father's right, you're going to be the perfect wife." I beamed at her, it wasn't hard faking my joy for her, I had mastered that skill years ago. I wasn't jealous that she was getting married to Judah, God knows I would rather die than be married to him. I was glad Father didn't make me marry him.

"So, when is the wedding?" I asked, playing with my food, I had lost my appetite.

"It's still too early, maybe in six mo…" Father started.

" We'll be getting married in two weeks." Judah cold voice interrupted. Lucia's fork fell from her hand and landed on the plate with a loud clang.

"WHAT!!"
