Chapter 6

Judah's POV

"Gio, what's the update with Carmelo, has he been found? You guys better have good news for me." I slammed the car down shut as I entered. Gio knowing what was good for him, kept quiet and drove to the club.

Dario, my second in command and my most trusted friend, was waiting outside my office when I arrived. He had a cheeky smile on, I gave him a scowl and shook my head for him not to try anything stupid.

"Judah, how does it feel to be a married man?"

" Don't even start." I walked past him and went into my office, and he followed.

"Come on, is the honeymoon over already? Or wasn't there any honey on the moon?" Dario laughed at his joke, I shot him my darkest glare and he shut up immediately. I say down and Dario dropped a file on my desk.

"I already emailed you the spreadsheet but I took the liberty to print it out for you. Our drug push rate dropped for the month and we're still missing a truckload of coke."

I opened the file and cursed, " Fucking Carmelo, this is why we don't trust the Spanish. When I get my hands on him, he's a dead man. Have you found him?"

Dario shook his head, " I haven't found him, he's one slimy and slick bastard but I have someone I'm sure you'd be happy with. I found who betrayed us and sold information to Carmelo."

I jerked and jumped from my seat, anger flowing through my veins.

"Why didn't you tell me this sooner? I need to know who the bastard is."

Dario nodded, " I wanted you to feel enough anger so you'll deal with him appropriately. It was Freddie, he's one of our truck drivers. The fool thought he could two-time us and get away with it."

I let out a bitter laugh, " Oh I'm going to show him what happened when someone two-times me." Dario and I left my office and headed down to the basement where Freddie was being kept.

Screams came from one of the holding cells and I turned to Dario, "I already put Gio and Nico with him to kick-start his lesson." I smiled, pleased, that was why Dario was my second in command, he always knew what to do.

"Of course," One of my men stood guarding the cell, he saluted on seeing us and stepped aside for us to enter.

Freddie's head was dunked in a basin of boiling water, I could see the thick steam from the basin, Nico, a tall muscular black man, held his hair. He dragged him up and Freddie screamed from pain, his face was red and blisters were starting to form.

"Freddie, we can do this all night, so you better start talking if you know what's good for you." Gio, my younger cousin said. I watched from the shadows as Freddie shook his head. He still had resilience, good, I liked being the one to break resilience.

I stepped into the light and watched as Freddie's eyes widened with fear. Perfect. Giovanni and Nico stopped and stood back.

"Hello Freddie, how have you been? It's been a while since we've seen each other. Do you know what I spent the past few days doing?" I paused, waiting for his reply. Freddie, too scared to say anything, nodded his head.

"I got married yesterday, you would expect that I'll be enjoying my honeymoon with my wife but no, all I've been doing so far, is worrying about my business and trying to clean up the mess that somebody made. Someone in this room leaked information about our shipment and we lost a truckload of drugs. Now, Freddie, I'm not saying that you are that person, but if you know something, it will be best that you start talking because I have a very angry wife at home and an angry wife makes an angry man." I knew Freddie wasn't going to own up to being the person that betrayed me but I liked the chase.

"I don't know anything, I swear on my mother's grave that I don't." They always swore on their parents' graves.

"Freddie, please, we're all adults here who know better than to believe swears. Tell me the truth so we can move on from this." He shook his head, I could feel the anger bubbling in me. I nodded at Gio and Nico. They picked Freddie up and threw him at my feet. Dario brought a chair for me and I sat.

I pulled Freddie by the collar of his shirt and dragged him closer to me.

"Freddie, this is your last chance to tell me the truth or you won't like the side of me that you'll see." He kept mum. Perfect.

Dario opened a toolbox that he always carried with him whenever we had to torture someone. I took my time perusing through the tools even though I knew what I wanted, I finally picked a plier and brought it out. I nodded at Gio and he grabbed Freddie's right arm and put it in front of me.

"No no no. Don't, please no." He begged, I opened the plier and placed his index finger in it. I clamped it down and pulled. A loud crack resounded in the cell. Freddie screamed in utter agony.

"Look what you made me do." I sighed, " Freddie, I don't like when people betray me. I don't like it even more when they lie to me. I can break another finger or you can talk."

Tears fell on his face and snot rushed down from his nose, I wrinkled my nose in disgust. How pathetic.

"I don't think breaking another finger will do the trick." I turned to Dario, " Do we have a man at Freddie's home?" Dario caught my bluff and nodded.

" I didn't want to result to this but it seems it's the way to go. Tell him to get ready and wait for my command." Dario pulled out his phone and called Gavin, my third in command, and gave him the false command. Gavin played his part well.

Freddie bowed in front of me, " Please, please don't. I'll tell you the truth, please spare my family, my daughter is just a baby. I'm the one that betrayed the group. I'm sorry, I tell you everything I know." I smirked and nodded at Dario, he called Gavin back and called off the fake invasion.

Freddie opened his mouth and spewed everything he knew about Carmelo. When he was done talking, I stood and smoothened my suit.

"You've done well but it's sad that this is the end of the road for you."

Freddie's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. " What?"

I pulled out my gun and shot him in the head, spewing his brains out. I kept my gun in my pocket and sighed.

"He was such a bright young man with a great future. So sad that he had to go this way." I kicked his body out of the way and headed out of the cell and to my office with Dario.

Gavin was on his phone waiting in my office. His large fingers tapped furiously and I almost felt sorry for the phone. He raised his head when he saw us and turned the phone off.

"Rough day?" I grinned wickedly.

Gavin sighed and ran his hand through his hair, " Try rough life, it's my mom again and she's trying to set me up with another one of her snotty friends' daughters. The last one I went on a date with was dumber than a spoon. I'm not fucking doing that anymore."

" Ah, now that I'm married, Zia Cara and Mom are going to be expending all their energy on getting you a wife. I love it." Gavin or Gavino was my cousin but we grew up more like brothers, I was six months older than him but most people assumed we were twins. We had the same jet-black hair, blue eyes, and height, although I liked to think I was slightly taller.

"Asshole. They're on my neck right now about getting married but soon they'll be on your neck about when you're going to give them grandbabies." An image of a baby with my black hair and Aurelia's hazel eyes flashed in my head but I quickly shook it off. To have a baby, I would first have to sleep with my wife. Another image popped into my head of Aurelia lying on my bed in a lingerie and I almost groaned.

"Judah, you here?" Dario's voice rang in my head and I came back to reality.

"Yeah, I'm thinking I'm just a little jetlagged." Gavin and Dario gave me disbelieving looks, they knew me well enough to know that I never got jetlagged.

"You heading home?" Gavin asked, I shook my head.

" Nah, I think I'll go to the hotel."

"I'll tell them to get your room ready and should they send the usual?" Dario asked, pulling out his phone. I thought about it for a minute.

"Yeah, I think I'm in the mood for that." I packed up my things, we left my office and I headed to my hotel.

The executive suite was my usual room, I entered and everything was to my liking, I showered, changed, and sat on the bed, scrolling through my phone, waiting for my usual. The doorbell rang, I got up and went to open it.

"Good evening Mr. Bianco, your usual is here." Hilda waltzed into the room, dressed in a trench coat. The leggy blonde walked towards my sofa like she was used to it, she was actually. I smirked and closed the door.

I sat on the sofa and Hilda pulled out a smaller portable speaker from her purse and put on some music. She took off her trench coat slowly and dropped to the ground, Hilda smiled as she twirled around in her lingerie that left almost nothing covered.

"Ready for your usual, Mr. Bianco?" She said in a slutty voice. I gave her a once-over and smirked.

"Hell yeah."
