ONYX'S POV;

"Where's my wife?!" I thundered as I walked through the corridor. The maids stood there, watching with fear.

I had gone to Hazel's room to check on her but her door was locked. I knocked several times but no answer came.

I knew she couldn't ignore me for that long even if she was mad at me or hated me. Something was wrong.

I asked one of the guards to climb up her window and look in only for him to find out that she was not in bed but an array of pillows covered with her duvet to make it look like she was asleep.

Once it was reported to me that she wasn't in her room, I went into a full blown panic and asked all my guards to search for her.
