She and the other maids were trained for such fights, and I knew that they would be having both Alina and Ray with them. “Until I call you, you stay in the underground tunnels. And if things backfire, you know what to do.”

“Yes, Alpha.” She said, and I nodded.

My one concern right now was my sister, but I wasn’t dumb, she was in the basement, away from all of this, and hidden. Needless to say, IF things did backfire, then I doubted that she would be affected. If anything, she might end up getting a reward for what she did.

I can explain why I didn't publish yesterday *hides behind the keyboard*. First, I was stuck with so much unpacking to do and the house cleaning took more time than I expected it to. Needless to say, I am not done with unpacking yet, but I am pretending that it doesn't exist. Second, my cats and bird came home yesterday and I had to check on them as well. Third, and the worst of them, guess who got stung by an anopheles mosquito, yep, your author here. I have been sick to the point where I could barely keep my eyes open on the plane, so, I couldn't really write. Still sick now and I can barely speak as I lost my voice, but meh, I can keep my head up and that is all that matters. So, what did you think of the chapter?
