I saw Rose suddenly stop. When I approached her, she was reading a message on her phone and cursing, "Oh shit!"

"Don't make another problem when your new one is not ready," I muttered.

Rose tiptoed and spontaneously turned around. She glared at me, hid the phone behind her, and said, "Are you snooping?"

I didn't get a chance to look at the message. But I was sure it was from someone close to Rose. I never knew who that person was because Rose was very private.

"There's no need for a sneak peek to know you're up to something," I replied.

Rose gritted her teeth. Her eyeballs rolled to Dad, who was walking toward us. Then she said, "Mind your own business! Stay out of my business!"
