Chapter 17 – Let Me Be With You

Gordon settles Sharon down on the queen size bed; he is not able to take his eye from her face, he sits next to the sleeping beauty contemplating her facial features. She shudders at the chill breeze blowing inside the room from the open doors of the balcony; he reluctantly puts the blanket on her suppressing the desire to envelop her in his embrace to warm her up.

He is confused with all the emotions flooding him. He fears if he leaves her room tonight, she will vanish away. He knows she has saw him in the morning beating that woman, he is worried that she must be afraid of him now and what if she doesn’t want to be his friend any more or what if she does not even want to be near him anymore. Will he be able to be without her? He feels alienated to his past life without her now.

He feels restless without her, his inner demon resurface and he get angry on trivial things which pushed him to behave as an ass in front of her.
