CHAPTER TWENTY

I immediately opened my eyes and soon realized it wasn't a mistake when I saw a pair of red eyes glaring down at me.

My heart thumped in my chest.

She'd found me.

Fidaurs was here.

“Sister,” I said, feeling goosebumps engulf my skin as I looked into her wild eyes that glowed bright red, the exact red of the moon.

For four years, she'd locked herself on the first floor of the mansion, indulging herself in paperwork and never showing her face to me or anyone else.

This was not without a reason.

Four years ago, she realized Felix was her mate but he rejected her for me since then, she never showed her face.

We were only a few that knew about this issue so we easily brushed it under the carpet. But two years ago, I killed Felix. She didn't show her face then either but I knew she'd be hurt.

But she said a word to my father once. When she came out of the little cage she'd created around herself, she'd either move on from the past or take revenge.
