THE STRANGERS

Chapter 3: The strangers

.*.*.*Amelia's POV*.*.*.

Happiness dripped off my body as I moved gracefully with my swords. "Two steps forward, two steps back" were the words that came out of my mouth as I fought my opponents effortlessly. Yeah, those words weren't just nothing, they were my dance steps. I've been practicing for a week on how to dance gracefully for my coronation but I'll tell you it's the worse experience ever.

Dancing is hard!

I had never looked so frustrated with training like how I look an hour after learning a dance move. Geez, dancing is tiring and frustrating —when you dont get the moves quickly— but I tend to get it after singing it.

I raised my sword higher and took a step forward while I balanced my stand before placing the sharp tip near my opponents neck. The time off whistle was blown and I smiled.

"Princess Amelia won!" He announced and the warriors clapped. I courtseyed shortly before making my way out of the main field and I to the changing room. My movement were altered when I stared ahead at the main road which led to pack house, different black cars were following Max and Tina's lead.

"Who are they?" I muttered with a frown. Staring at those cars sent fear down my spine and I felt Ana's uneasiness too. "I don't feel good about this visitors."

Do you think our mate's wolf is the one howling out to us? Ana asked but I shook my head in disagreement. No, Ana. Mates don't make thier loved ones feel uncomfortable. The feeling we have is probably something else which we need to get to the root of. I answered, while taking a sharp turn towards the changing room.

It took me less that twenty minutes to finish my business in the bathroom and get myself dressed. I wasn't that fast when it comes to dressing up but I was so curious to know who our visitors are.

At this time, the sun was already setting so I calmly walked back the path that led to the Pack house but my racing heart was controlled when I entered the house which was so lively, the aroma of whatever food the maids were cooking too gave the house a fine smell too.

"Why is everyone working as if nothing happened while I'm here feeling uncomfortable." I mumbled while I head for the stairs which led to my parents office. On getting to the door, I knocked gently and waited for a 'come in' bedfore opening the door.

"Good afternoon, father." I bowed shortly then did the same to the visitors seated in front of him. I raised my head and stared at the five strangers, they were all dressed in black. Two sat in front of dad while the other three sat on the couch behind.

"Welcome, my dear. Oh, Alpha Sky, meet my daughter, Amelia. Amelia, meet Alpha Sky, the Alpha of the Brown rock Pack." I watched my dad introduce me to the strangers with a frown. Brown rock Pack? Isn't that our long time rival? I asked my dad through our mindlink. "They've come to form an ally with us, my dear and they also want to wait till after your coronation." He answered out loud and I frowned but covered it up with a smile quickly.

"Oh," was the only word that came out of my mouth. Even after the explanation about their arrival, I still feel so uneasy about them.

"Nice to meet you too, Amelia." Alpha Sky bowed shortly with a smile which totally creeps Ana out.

"Same here." I returned the same smile then glanced at my father before making my way out of the office.

"My lady."

"Tom, father all the guards and double them on each point. I feel so uneasy about these visitors." I whispered to the chief guard who stood beside the office door gallantly.

"Roger that, my lady!" I didn't wait to watch his order in action as I make my way down the stairs, I took the exit and walked straight into my house which was built five feet behind the Pack house.

"Something is wierd about these strangers in black but I can't figure it out." I groaned out frustratingly.

"I feel uneasy about their visit too, Lia. Aren't they our rival?" I turned at Elias's voice and nodded. "It's wierder that the Alpha came with them too." He added and I hummed.

"At least I'm not the only one who feels that. Do you think they're up to something?" I asked and he sighed.

"I can't conclude now but I'll tell Tom to keep an eagle eye on them." He assured and I nodded. Making my way into my kitchen, I picked out the frozen meatballs from my refrigerator and placed it on the slab.

"Hey, I'll get it done for you. Go and rest, your dance class is in an hour." Elias said and I groaned. He laughed. "Don't mock me, I hate dancing." I growled and he laughed harder.

"It's just a night dance, you'll get it." He pay my back and I rolled my eyes. "It'll be fine, my Luna." He kissed my hair and turned to my meatballs.

"Can I just sit here and watch you cook?" I asked and he nodded.

"Anything that makes you feel like a princess, my lady." He answered and I smiled while taking my sit on the stool.

"Thanks, Beta Elias." He chuckled at the title but didn't say anything.
