Chapter 3 ~ The Boss

ALEXANDER'S POV.

"What should I do to him, boss?"

I smirk at the helpless guy in the video call. He's so young and penniless, just like his father. I doubt he's going to make a difference in his life any year from now. He'll end up ageing and wasting his life.

I turn to the old man beside me, tied to a chair looking helplessjust like his son in the video call. "It's regrettable. Your son has to pay for your sins.

The pleasure it gives me to know I have so much power on other people, is unexplainable.

He struggles on his chair, humming and trying to speak. "Mmm mmm." He shakes his head, continuously.

"So tell me, what should I do with him."

"Mmm mmm." He shakes his head 'no'.

"I'm sorry, I can't hear you." He puts in more effort to speak through his sealed lips. "Pardon." I bring my ear close to his lips. I smirk, not understanding what's he's saying. I move away from his face and stare at him as he struggles. His vulnerability make me let out a short laugh.

"There." I point at the laptop. " That's your son." I run man fingers at the back of the wooden chair he is tied to. I squat, gazing at the man who owes me Five hundred thousand dollars. "You caused this to yourself. A full grown man like you in dept and unable to pay." I stable my legs. "Tell me, what did you use the money for? You should have found comfort in your little word, but you stupidly wanted to have a taste of rich life when you know aren't cable of affording it." I eye his weak body. "Just see what it cost you." I look at his son. "I believe a bad debt should never be forgiven. it's a debt for a reason, so therefore, should be paid for. Either the hard way or the easy way." I stand to my feet. "You gave me no choice." I say as I walk to stand behind the laptop. I look down at it as I use my index finger to trace the edges of the monitor. "We had an agreement." I look up at him. "Remember our deal?" His eyes widen and he struggles even more. I take that as an indication that he remembers clearly.

I walk back to stand behind him so I can now face the laptop and talk to Seth. "Seth."

"Yes, boss."

"A life for a debt. You know what to do."

"As you say."

"Mmm mmm."

I walk to the laptop and shut it then walk out of the room without saying a word to the old man who's now in tears.

That is done by the way. For now, at least. I'll be back to torment his life and kill everyone dear to him, until I'm satisfied. Until I feel his debt has been paid for.

Even in his next life, he wouldn't dare to borrow from a mafia. From me, infact.

I can't be played. I meant business and I don't joke with it.

I walk down the stairs in a straight blank face. "Seth should meet me in my office." I tell one of the men as I walk pass him.

"Uhm, boss." He calls in a questioning tone.

I don't turn but keep working. "Any issue?"

I hear his heels hit the tiled floor as he walks quickly behind me. "Miss Jenna is around." He says, fear evident in his tone.

I stop on my heels and turn abruptly to look at him."Why did you let her in during work hours?" The frustration and anger in my voice is enough to send him to hell.

"She insisted, boss. I'm sorry that I couldn't stop her."

I raise a brow at him. "You couldn't stop her." I repeat his words in an unbelievable tone, raising one of my brows in the process. "Beautiful." Is all I say before walking away.

He should start reciting his last prayers beacause I'll ensure to give him a beautiful death.

I walk straight to my room, knowing Jenna will be nowhere but there. I twitch my lips as I eye Jenna on my bed, lying on her stomach with her legs wiggling in the air. I jam the door closed, making her now aware of my presence.

"I waited too long." She turns just her head to look at me with a smile.

"Why are you here?"

"Why am I here?" She keeps her smile on as she questioned, at the same time, potraying a 'you know why I'm here' look. She steps down from the bed and walk towards me with slow sexy movements. Unfortunately for her, they don't turn me on, unlike before.

I say nothing to her and move one of my legs before me as I shove my hands into my pockets, giving her enough body language to show that she no longer affect me. Well, she never did to begin with. She was just there. She has always been nothing more than that to me. A sex machine.

"You've been ignoring my calls." She says without looking at my face as she draws small circles on my chest.

"I've been busy. I've got no time for non-business oriented calls." I walk away from her to the window and stare outside at the tall buildings which overshadow mine. "I believe I owe you no explanation." I take off my sirt.

"You don't babe." She walks to me again. This time, hugging me from behind.

I roll my eyes and groan. She knows how much her clinginess disgust me. Not that she's anything close to special in my life.

She's the first girl I've actually kept for more than a week. Sex with her was great at first until she started clamoring for more. Not that I have a problem with her being sexually active, but it's like she's using it as her way to get more than just sex from me, and I'm not ready to give her those things. Not to her; not to anyone.

I don't have it in me. I can't give what I don't have. Care, affection, attention and worst of all, love.

All I have to give is my money and my bed.

This will be the last, after now. I'll ditch her and get a new girl. With Jenna, it's no fun anymore. It's getting old and boring.

It's just sex, right. "Let's get this done with." I turn to face her. Without wasting much time, I connect our lips and kiss her roughly.

Gentleness has never been my thing.

I get dressed after Jenna leaves angrily. I did what needed to be done. Now back to business.

I call Seth, knowing he's back and tell him to come to my room.

Just as I put on my wrist watch, there is a knock on the door. "Come in." I say, knowing who it is.

I turn to face the door with my hands now in my pockets, as he walks in.

"Boss." He slightly bows.

"What's the update?"

"Collins Fisher. He's ready to make the deal."

I nod. "He's fast. I like that."

"He is and fully prepared to do so today. He's just waiting for a call."

"Good. Give him a call. We should meet at my office."

"Yes, boss." He turns to walk away but I stop him.

"Handle Jenna with a sum of money. I don't want to see her again. Make it known to the guards. I'm done with her. I won't be accepting excuses."

"I'll do that."

"What did you do with his body?" I ask before he attempts to walk away again.

"We buried him somewhere he can never be found. Don't worry boss, things are under control."

I'm not worried. Anyway, he's Seth. He's good.

"Good." I nod and dismiss him.

He walks away, while I stand there staring at the spot Seth was standing before.

I'm done with that old man's son. I've gotten rid of Jenna. Next up, a client whom I think has something valuable to give me.

Collins Fisher.
