Chapter 8: Kent

I don't know why, but today Miss Irwin is way too co-operative than I expected.

I asked her out to shop dresses for our Christmas dinner, expecting she would be reluctant to say yes. However, instead of giving an one-finger salute to my “No way I am gonna let you show up at the mansion in your old mommy’s panty” jab, she remained quite calm, simply shook her head with a “You just can’t help it, can you” expression, and then went along with the shopping spree at this fancy shopping mall outside our college town.

A Miracle, isn’t it?

“What do you think about this?” She came out of the dressing room, a little bit uncomfortable in this glittering boutique.

Her pick is a below-the-knee, blue sheath dress with cap sleeves and a high neckline. Although I gotta admit that it was simple and good-taste, elegant in the way it emphasized her curves without exposing too much skin, I actually had something else in mind.
