I pulled up in front of the cabin that Emma now resided in. It was beautiful. There were so many different flowers surrounding the property. Roses, tulips, sun flowers, and lily’s all in different colors. They complimented the light tans and red of the cabin. I could stay outside staring at this scene all day. I waited a few more minutes taking in the scenery before exiting my Camaro and heading to Emma’s door. I knocked three times and waited. A woman I did not know answered the door. “You must be Miss Greene. Miss White has been expecting you. She should be down any minute. I am Moana if you need anything feel free to ask. Mr. Shane and his children are currently in the living room if you would like to join them.” I smiled politely thanked her and headed to the living room. A few hours later I was sitting in the waiting room of Central Union hospital awaiting on a Dr. Marsh to tell me the status of Emma’s condition. Kyle’s men cleared out from the cabin, and I called the police to report Carters death and who was behind it. Kyle and his men took the bodies of Rubys falling men I did not ask what they planned to do with them. I did not want to know, and I made sure to leave them out of my report to the police. The police department had ordered a city-wide man hunt on Ruby. Wherever she escaped to she would not be safe for long. That did not matter to me at the moment. The only thing I cared about was weather Emma was going to be okay or not. I sat there counting the tiles on the hospital walls just so my mind was not idle, and it would not go on a downward spiral of worry for the woman who I considered a sister. The plan Kyle had; I was skeptical about. Sure, it sounded great, but I was not sure I could handle it. I was not Emma; she was much more cunning than I was. It was in a very small, populated area and was used mostly by long haul truckers. We agreed to meet at nine p.m. that evening. After I hung up with her, I immediately called Kyle. “That is good news indeed. Do not worry my men and I will be in position. We will abduct her as soon as the two of you leave the diner.
