The mysterious man and I held eye contact for what felt like hours but was only a few seconds. I finally broke the contact when I looked at dad struggling to get up. I helped him as Hunter stood in front of us, wanting to protect his family. Not wanting to lose us like we lost mom. "You better get out of our way boy." One of the men said with a gruff voice. The two men were about over 6'2 and had bulky muscles. Hunter on the other hand stood at 6'0 and had muscles too but not like those men.

Dad sent Hunter and I home before my shift ended. He said we needed to get ahead of packing before Monday comes. If someone were to ask me if I knew my family was involved in criminal activities, I would've called them stupid. I stared at the pictures of my babygirl. My principessa. She was lying asleep in bed. The windows were wide open and that was a mistake on their part. Did they really think moving would stop us? Did Danny Romani really think sending his daughter and son moving to New York would make them safe? No, it doesn't. It only makes me like the chase even more. The thought of Alyssa makes me hard. Brings chills to my body.

The next day I woke up, I didn't hear anything. The house was quiet. Too quiet. I got out of bed before grabbing my phone and putting it into my bra. Walking out of my room, I go to Hunter's room and see that he's still sleeping. I suddenly come up with an idea about how to wake him up.  Walking downstairs, I head to the kitchen and see all of my uncles in their drinking coffee and discussing business.

I miss Hunter and Alyssa day by day but I know it's for the best. I feel bad for lying to them all, but I had to. Today's Wednesday and Mr. Dechart is coming to get his money. All I wish is that I could've found a legal way without having to borrow money from anymore people. I didn't want to take money from my brothers or my children but they are stubborn and won't take no for an answer.  I was sitting in my office, looking over some papers when the door opened and in walked Mr. Dechart and his men. I immediately stood up out of my chair and tried to find some sort of confidence to stand
