Chapter eight
As soon as David left Sunday morning I turned on my phone. Only to find six missed calls and about ten text messages from Nicky.

oh boy I thought if I call her now I will be on the phone with her for hours. I want to tell her what happened right away but dad is taking the morning off from work to take me out to breakfast. So I think I will probably just send her a quick message letting her know that I will call her as soon as I get home from the waffle house with Dad.

After I woke up from my nap I realized that I had forgotten to pull something out for supper so I decided to order some subs for dinner to eat when Dad gets home. All night Monday night I tossed and turned. Even though David was right by my side I just had trouble sleeping. I was just too happy and excited to sleep. I am so glad I finally said yes and let things happen as they came. I just hope it wasn't a mistake he is just so perfect for me in every way. He makes me feel complete, it was like before I met him I had a big hole or emptiness in my heart and now it's filled. It is finally official that I am now David's girlfriend and I couldn't be any happier. I know I just met him not long ago but I love him so much already. "Lily, is everything okay? You keep tossing and turning"David asked. "Yes I am David I am just so happy I can't sleep." I replied. " But I am okay." "It's okay hun I am happy also but you really need your sleep you have to work in a few hours." He replied back as he wrapped me up closer to him.

Work couldn't end fast enough and when it did I hurried straight home to get ready for my date with David. I forgot what time so as soon as work ended at five I got a head start just to make sure I would be ready for when he got there. It was now six and still no David. I hate to text him. I know he should be here soon. I will just go visit with dad while I wait. As I hurried down the stairs the doorbell started going off. He is here. I am so excited. All night I laid awake thinking about finally making the rest of my dreams come true. Now that I am happy again I can go back to school and finally graduate and maybe take a business class and hopefully be able to start that restaurant I always wanted. Maybe I will talk to David about it in the morning. I really hate waking him up early. We got in late last night. Which reminds me I need to make some time this weekend for Nicky. First thing I have to do this morning is register for school. This is my last chance I put it off for way to long already. If I don't do it now I never will. As soon as I finished showering and got dressed I woke David up to gave him a hug and kiss before I head out to register for school."Honey, I am getting ready to head out."
