1 - The Villainess

After I have realized that I’m really in my favorite character’s body which is Victoria’s, I hurriedly forced myself to remember the sequences of the story ‘Roses & Thorns’ and there I remembered that she was the third child of Victor Mera and her older brothers are Vinsky and Vigor. As far as what I know, the story will start once Rosan becomes one of her maids. I then asked one of the maids here if there’s someone named Rosan but she said there was none, so I think the story I read in the novel hasn’t started yet.

Firstly, I need to prevent the ending scene wherein Victoria died in the hands of Nixon, the male lead. To prevent that, I need to befriend Rosan, the main character in this story. But since the story hasn’t started yet, I still have the time to prepare and plan. Apologies to the author if I will make some changes to your story. That’s because I don’t want to be something like a double dead. Good thing that Nixon and I’s that are still not meeting because he might be the reason for my second death, and that should I avoid.

“Tori! Tori!”

My consciousness was taken aback when a man went in my room. His face looks so worried. Another man who just looks like him went in. If I’m not mistaken, this man in front of me is Vinsky and the one just standing in the doorway is Vigor. As per what I have read, Vinsky is the talkative and expressive one and Vigor is the vice versa. They’re twins but have totally opposite personality. Regardless, as what I know, they both care so much for their little sister Victoria. That is why when Victoria died, there became a bloodshed between the Meras and Gonzales, and because Nixon is the main character, he succeeded. Now that I’m in this body, I won’t let that happen. Huh. I won’t make the same mistake as Victoria, I won’t ever love Nixon Gonzalez!

"Tori, thank God you're okay. But the doctor said you have an amnesia. Does that mean you can’t remember me? Are you okay? Where does it hurt? What do you remember? Even just a little?" Vinsky asked with tears on his eyes. I laughed a bit inside me. It’s really true that he’s so dramatic when it comes to his little sister. But okay, I understand him since Victoria was a month unconscious.

"Will you shut up for once, Vins? She just woke up. Stop asking too much questions," Vigor answered and Vins reacted with a pout.

“Is there anywhere that hurts, Tori?” asked Vigor as he comes to me. I shook my head as an answer.

“Do you know who we are?” He followed up his question. I nodded gently, and it seems that they were relieved.

“Maybe there are just things she can’t remember,” Vins answered.

Just a second and a maid holding a tray with some meds on it entered my room, but when she put it on my side table, it slipped and the water suddenly spilled onto me. I sighed unconsciously because I was startled.

"S-Sorry! Sorry! Sorry Miss Victoria! Please forgive me,” pleaded the maid then kneeled in front of me, asking for forgiveness while wiping the water down the floor.

“It’s okay. Only few was spilled to me. I’ll just change my clothes. Please leave the medicine there and get another glass of water,” I asked the maid. Most of the water was spilled on the floor and not to me. But I’ve noticed that the two boys are staring at me.

“What?” I asked them.

“Oh, nothing. We’re just quite shocked with how you reacted. Most probably, if someone would spill just a bit of water to you, you’ll shout at them and would throw tantrums.” Vins answered. Then I remembered that that is how Victoria was described on the story, short-tempered. But I’m not her so I won’t do that.

“Should I?” I asked.

“No. We’re just shocked. We didn’t expect you becoming calm. But that’s better, hehe,” Vins answered.

I then took the medicine that the maid gave. Since it’s Victoria’s body and she came from a big accident, she needs medication. Even though it’s not really my body, I can still feel the loss of strength. That’s why I need to take meds and rest so I can cleanly utilize my plans.

When my brothers went out of my room, I then changed my clothes. I was assisted by maids since Victoria has four.

I thought of touring myself in this room, a room that’s bigger even if you double our house. My feet brought me to Victoria’s walk-in closet that left me in awe.

Woah! She has tons of bags and shoes. All of her things are luxurious and signature items. I can’t see anything cheap. Ah, my neck seems locked because of staring at all of this.

And the jewelries, too! It almost looked like a jewelry store. As far as I know, most of these are from auctions so most probably, they’re rare.

After my eyes were full for touring myself in her closet, I went to the balcony to get some fresh air. It’s so satisfying here. I can also see the roses in the garden up here. Based on the story, this was her favorite spot to drink champagne when she needs to be alone and think. Now I know why she loves to be here.

I then squeezed myself with an embrace when the wind blew. It’s not that cold but it’s soothing. But I forgot that I was wearing a shawl so it was taken by the wind and it landed on the ground. I looked for it and suddenly saw a man who picked my shawl on the ground. Our eyes met when he lifted his face but I rapidly avoided his gaze and went to my room.

Minutes passed when someone knocked on my door. A maid entered and then handed to me my shawl.

“Sir Ivan gave me this, Miss. He said that you dropped it from your balcony,” said she. I was stunned a bit.

“Ivan as in Ivanoff?” I asked. The maid nodded. There I just realized that the man who picked up my shawl was Ivanoff Suarez. The one and only second male lead!
