Chapter 12 - The guest

Cecilia POV

I was startled awake by the door opening. I glanced at the time and frowned when I saw that it was in the middle of the night.

I saw Alessandro walk in and relaxed slightly, but I tensed again when I saw a girl walk in behind him.

I sat up and stared at them, unsure what was going on.

“Is this her?” The girl asked.

Alessandro nodded.

“Cecilia, I’d like you to meet Soraya.” He said. “She’s going to be staying here for a while.”

I blinked.

“Yes, Alpha,” I replied and looked down.

I figured it would probably look weird if I didn’t address him properly

Soraya frowned.

“I don’t get it.” She said. “You bought her at an auction and you let her call you ‘Alpha’? You let her sleep in your bed? She’s a slave. She should be calling you ‘master’.”

Alessandro clenched his jaw but nodded.

“You’re right.” He said and I looked at him confused.

He turned to me.

“You will only address me as Master from now on.”

I nodded.

“Yes, Master.”
