Chapter 16 - Someone shouldn't know me

Cecilia POV

It had only been two days, but I already started to dread the sound of clicking heels.

I was folding laundry this time, after washing it in the washing machines all by myself.

And yes, I felt really proud of myself.

I guess it was thanks to Alessandro that I managed to figure it out, but I chose to ignore that at the moment.

My heart sank when I heard Soraya walking in the hallway outside the Laundry room.

Before I could cross my fingers that she was going somewhere else, she entered the Laundry room and smiled at me tauntingly.

“There’s the little whore.” She said sweetly. “I have a task for you.”

I kept my eyes cast down even though I wanted to strangle her with a pillowcase.

“Yes, Mistress,” I said.

“Alessandro and I are going to Jägersro,” Soraya said. “And you are coming with us.”

I looked up at Soraya in surprise.

“Why?” I asked without thinking.

Soraya glared daggers at me and pushed me backward.

I tripped over a pile of sheets and hit my head on the sink
