Chapter 6: The New Chef

SAMARA looked around the entire mansion. Today is the day of her flight to India. She seems to have been oblivious to the passage of time lately. She even prayed that her 10th-grade year would never end.

But it’s just like that. Not all wishes are granted by fate. Instead of slowing down, progress seems to be speeding up every hour. She didn’t realize that she had already moved up from junior high. And she had to leave the island she grew up on.

She didn’t know if she would ever come back here or if this would be the last time she would see the beauty of the mansion and the entire island.
