I'll find my way

"Look, James it's just a little favour. I really need this" Paul said to his friend over the phone.

He had decided that he would do whatever it takes to make Celine marry Mr Smith's grandson. So he had called a doctor friend of his to request for a favour.

"What you're asking me to do is against my Ethics and you know I swore and oath before I was given my license" Dr James had said over the phone to Paul.

Paul wanted a fake test result from James. The paper was to state that he had cancer and that he needed to undergo series of chemotherapy as soon as possible.

"Please James! For the sake of our friendship" Paul begged.

He and James went way back to elementary school. They have been best of friends for as long as they could remember. Even when James went to Med school and Paul to Business School, they never lost contact of each other.

"It's only for a short while, it'll be over before you even realize and the document will be destroyed without traces" Paul promised.

James could sense the desperation in his friends voice. He knew Paul would keep asking until he agreed, so he decided to give in to his request.

"Okay, fine when will you come for it?" He asked.

Paul sighed in relief, he knew he could always count on his friend.

"Thank you so much James, I owe you one." He appreciated

"Yes you do!"

Celine's father went to the hospital his friend worked at later that afternoon to get the 'test results'. He had planned to use to results to trick Celine into getting married. He knew that his daughter had a very big heart and also had a sacrificing heart.

Knowing he wasn't in an healthy situation was something that could trigger her into making decisions she wouldn't make on a normal day.

After getting the results, Paul found his way to his daughter's dormitory. She didn't go to school from home but instead stayed in the school's dormitory. Paul had only been there once, that is, on the day he went to drop her off at the School as a Freshman.

He found her room easily and knocked. Celine's roommate answered the door.

"Good morning sir" the girl greeted.

"Good morning, is Celine home?" He asked as the girl let him in and offered him a seat.

"No, she has classes but should be back in about an hour" She replied.

Paul waited for about and hour till Celine returned. That gave him enough time to practice how he was going to 'break the news' to his daughter. He even put on a dull outlook like someone mourning a loss.

Celine got back from class and saw her father waiting for her in her room.

"Dad? What are you doing here?" She asked surprised to see her dad. He usually asked her to come home whenever he wanted to have a conversation with her.

"Is there a problem?" She asked as her didn't respond to her first question. Paul bowed his head like someone ashamed to face his daughter. He passed her test results with his head still facing down.

She took the piece of paper from him and read it. It seemed like her world had crumbled. Her dad was the only one she had and now cancer wanted to take him away from her? She couldn't let that happen especially not when there was something she could do.

She couldn't do anything to help her mother but right now she was willing to do everything within her power to make sure her father defeats cancer.

"Oh Dad!" She cried as she bent to console him.

Paul had also managed to fake tears.

"Don't cry! We'll sort it out.. you're going to undergo chemotherapy, you'll be fine Dad!" She consoled.

"Celine, chemotherapy is expensive..we already have enough debts on our neck. There's no way we can even afford it." Paul said in between sniffles.

Celine understood what her father meant, the money they made all went into settling most of their debts and they weren't even halfway done with paying off the debts yet.

"I'll find a way" She assured.

Celine went home with her dad that night. She helped him make dinner and kept his company while assuring him that everything was going to work out.

Paul knew deep down that his plan worked. He felt so sad that he had te tell a lie this huge to convince her. Even though she hadn't told him yet, he knew she would by the next morning.

Celine went into her room after ensuring her dad was sound asleep. She let the tears she had been struggling to keep in flow freely. She could not let her dad suffer at the hands of a deadly disease like cancer.

She didn't have any options at all, well except one which was to get married. Every one she talked about it to seemed to think it was a good idea. I mean look at what Zack had to say, Her dad too wasn't against the idea.

At the moment, her opinion didn't matter right at the moment all that mattered was that she was willing to do anything to be able to afford her father's chemotherapy.

She finally decided to get married to the rich man's grandson. She picked her phone to search for what the man she was getting married to looked like on G****e.

The images g****e brought back were surprising.

It was the guy from the Cafe the other night. The handsome blue eyed customer with a livid temper.

She knew she found him attractive but does she really want to marry him? He came off as rude too, could she handle his moods. He seemed like someone who was in a bad mood a lot of times.

Except when he was partying, from the pictures on the net, Celine classified Xavier as a party freak.

'who on earth parties all day of the week?' she asked herself.

She concluded that it was because he was rich.....

What the didn't tell Celine was that, the blue eyed customer with a livid temper also owned and personally funded the orphanage at which she loved to work at...

Xavier kept that part of his life a secret because he didn't want the media in his business. The publicity wasn't what he needed.

Celine had one other thing on her mind too

"Does Xavier consent to this arranged marriage?"
