Chapter 15 Hikaru's Journey

Waking suddenly, angry that she foolishly fell asleep when the enemy was in so close quarters to her, confused as to why she wasn't dead or waking up in a dungeon somewhere. She then remembered she was still in the perfectly built & concealed cubby hole.

Hikaru carefully lifted the door to the hole made to blend in with the the rest of the floor. Seeing no one around, she climbed out of the cubby, stretching her sore limbs from being crammed in that spot all night.

"We were a lot smaller back then, weren't we?” Hikaru smiled as the memory passed across her mind like she was seeing all of it for the first time.
