Sasha POVi felt this strong pul forcing me to the front steps of Chris's house where I hear screaming coming from inside. the pull pushes me inside to see chris and the girli now is Veronica fighting on the floor. I tried to save her by calling out to Chris, I thought that if he knew I was here he would leave her be, i was so wrong for thinking that way.It was me who got the police here I saw Veronica diel the number but she didn’t get the chance to press call Chris had her phone flying into the wall, I heard the pop her scalp made as it was torn from its one skull.I called out to Chris using all my power making him hear me and see me, his eyes grew wide in realization as his once beautiful eyes locked onto my dead ones.In a flash I moved myself back to the precinct with only one destination in mind, I came to a hault in front of Detective Harris's desk. quickly I scaned over the many pictures scattered around the top of his desk looking for anything that could help him see what h
Third person POVThe truth had come to light making front page news and the police had hard core evidence to charge Chris with the murders of all three women he had once clammed to loved. The news of what Chris had done brought out many speculations and alot of pressreports about each girl and their lives before him and the affect his heinous acts had on their loved ones. The first repost to come out was of Raquel...“Raquel Salazar had meet Chris during a night out with friends instanly falling for his charms" Julianna Summers reports "She was a girl full of life with a eye for fashion. She was said to of had a passion for cooking. Said her roommate Daniela James" the sine changed to the front entrance of blue lake Park where her body had been descovered "We had the opportunity to speck with her mother Camila Salazar and she had this to say" Again the sine chages to the front of an apartmant complex where there were flowers and ballons covering the front entrace "Raquel had always b
Demestic violance is somthing we try to hid and shouldn't.I grew up in Portland Oregon and know first had that horrifing things like the ones depicted in this story become nothing more then another tragic news story from one day to the next leaving the victims and their families feeling nothing but frustraction and anger.the Portland Police do have a few good officers and detectives who have and will continue to dedicate their lives to do just as their mato declairs "Serve and Protect" this is no way a bashing of the police deparment just a shout out to bring awareness to the many situations they fail to see or turn a blind eye to.Please if you or someone you know are in a situation where it is unsafe for you or your loved ones ask for help.
The only sound that could be heard was of my frantically beating heartbeat as I run through the dead streets of downtown Portland Oregon. The crisp night air stung my face and lungs as I ran for safety far away from where I just was.I had just left work and was walking my usual route to the max station known as OldTown China Town when someone came up behind me and hit me in the back of the head knocking me to the ground with a thud. I yelled out into the night hoping that someone might hear me over the shrill cries of the max line in the distance but not one person came to my rescue, not one person out of the few that lingered around the back alleys know doubt stuck in their own worlds cared to investigate or come to my aid. All I could do is wait, all that was left for me to do is wait for the right moment to try and get away. The man kicked me in the sides and punched me in the face, I tried to shield myself the best I could but at times fails feeling the power from the man’s hit
Walking back to the police station on wobbly legs the two blocks I had to walk to find the payphone in the first place i take a seat and wait for Tommy.“You cant sleep her miss” a gruff voice yells down the stairs in my direction. “I’m not fucking sleeping I'm waiting for help and a ride home since you so called officers failed to do your jobs and help me or take me home as you should have” rude I know but I could care less at this point I came here to ask for help and they treated me like I was nothing and refused to help me as they should have.“If in an hour your still sitting there I will arrest you for loitering” the officer says as he walks away. I Ignoring the officer who takes his job way to seriously and turn back to watching the silent street for Tommy’s car. While I'm waiting I watch as a few people come and go some not walking back out. I watch as a few people are dragged into the station kicking and screaming and cussing at the arresting officers.I’ve been sitting on
It’s been a week since the incident outside of work and my boss Fred was kind enough to give me the week off to heal and rest. It’s also been a week sense I meet Chris and he hasn’t messaged or called me once to check on me or even just to talk. I’m laying in bed with the cover over my head ignoring the ringing of my alarm clock at the same time I’m trying to block out the light that shines through the sheer curtains I made the mistake of buying because I thought they were cute and fit the aesthetic of my small room. "Sasha Nichole get your ass up or your gonna be late for work" groaning into the pillow I pick my head up just enough to check the time. "Shit" it's 7:45 I have to be at the shop at 8:00 to open for Fred who asked me to open today because he had to take Monica his wife to the doctor. Fred and Monica have been married for forty years and moved to Portland in 1984 after their first son was born. Fred was friends with my dad who also happens to work at Fred’s place back
Christopher was not expecting me to come off as rude or cold as I did and I can tell by the look on his face he was quick to masks which changed his whole demeanor. After a few moments of standing on the busy sidewalk not saying a word to each other only a few blocks from the always loud and crowded Pioneer Squire I clear my throat and ask "How about we grab some lunch and start over" It’s the least I can do after being so rude to him when I should of just been mature about the whole name situation."Um sure why” Chris shrugs his shoulder then start to walk off in the opposite direction “But I pick the place" he send me a playful smile showing off his perfect white teeth and two dimples."Sure I can live with that" nudging his shoulder a bit with my own once I catch up to his wide strides we start the walk making small conversation as we go. We come to a stop outside of a restaurant I've passed a few times but never tried. Standing on the sidewalk looking in I’m not sure if now is th
For the rest of the week after we had lunch I busied myself with work and enrolling into community college to maybe start pre law classes in the spring. Another week passed with out a word from Chris as he had promised and I was done watching my phone waiting and hoping that the handsome, kind and funny man I had meet would call and set up a date like we had planed to. “Come on Sash please for me” Sofia has been asking me to go with her to this new club but it’s not really my kind of thing so I really don’t want to go. “Please, please, pretty pretty please just one night it will be fun” “Fine okay will you get back to work now” I laugh pushing Sofia away from the register and point to the shelf she had been dusting when she first asked me. Closing up the Shop for the night me and Sofia walk to the max and go our separate ways agreeing to meet up in two hours at my house since its closer to downtown. Walking through the front door I see a bouquet of beautiful red roses on the kitc
