Chapter 35: MALCOLM'S ANGER

Malcolm, James, and the men in black with them have left, leaving David with disappointment and pain plasters all over his face. He stares at the floor that is slowly dripping blood from his nose, he laughs, but his smile is distorted. David says bitterly:

"Damn it, why doesn't it stop bleeding?"

He stifles his anger and frustration by slamming his fist on the floor. But why he is so angry, he does not know. Maybe it is partly because of Malcolm's indifference and contempt, and partly because of Mia. He doesn't know, the feelings in David's heart are extremely chaotic right now. People are always so unpredictable and grasping, sometimes we don't even understand ourselves, who can understand us? Some emotions can’t be put into words, they can only be suppressed in an already cramped heart. How can we find a way to rescue our broken hearts? David drops his face, his face now devoid of any emotion.
