The murky water of the swamp rippled and then became calm again as if nothing had happened. The silver moon was high in the night sky and the gentle breeze blew as they all stood at the bank, watching the swamp in silence.
The wedding bouquet that Lina threw in the water could no longer be seen in the dark. She stepped closer to Eon’s side who automatically opened his arm to enfold her.
“Eon, Lina, we have to go. Thank you for inviting us to your wedding.” Briare’s voice broke the silence between them.
“Thank you for coming for such short notice,” Eon replied, extending his hand for a handshake then realized that Lina was like a small chick under his right arm, that he had to move to his left and again offered his hand for a shake to Briare. “Hope to still see you at Luna,” he added.
Briare smiled at Eon’s invitation but in his eyes was sadness that Eon could not help but wonder what this man had been
Lina woke up from the feeling of warm water gently splashing on her skin. When she opened her eyes, she saw Eon in deep concentration, washing her naked body in the tub. She looked to her right and noticed that they were in their own cabin. “Hey, welcome back.” He grinned, caressing her cheek. “What happened?” She asked in confusion. Eon had the audacity to smirk and arch his brow. “Well, sweetheart, I could remind you what exactly had happened,” he said in the soft tone of voice, flicking her nipple that was peeking on the water. “What a jerk!” She cupped some water in her hands and threw it to Eon’s face to wipe the smug expression on it. “You were asking,” he chuckled, wiping the water off his face as he stood up and started removing his clothes and without a word stepped inside the tub with her. He took the other end, opposite from her. He had his knees bent but his legs were wide open. Lina swallowed, and the thought of crawling in between his legs, to settle in the comfort
There is a certain stillness in the air as the moon peeked over the window of the room where an eight-year-old Aegaeon was waiting with his father in front of a closed door. He sat straight on the chair with the two men from his family—his father to his left and a man around the same age as his father that he called his uncle, who sat on his right. They were all anxiously waiting for a piece of good news from the firmly shut door since the sun kissed the horizon goodbye, and the moon slowly rose high in the night sky. They were told it would not take that much time since the baby was small inside her mother’s tummy and she was already the second child. The first child was born the same year as Aegaeon — a boy. This second child was a girl—a very special one. The child that was about to emerge into the world is his Luna! He knew it the first time he saw the baby bump of the wife of the man sitting on his right whom he calls unc
-Twenty Years Later- The pulsating neon lights were dancing on the walls of Luna. One of the most exclusive and most popular clubs in the Los Angeles downtown area. Women wearing skimpy pieces of clothes, showing even their souls were all over the place. But no one cares. For this place with its earsplitting music, seizure-inducing lights, and sweaty bodies humping on the floor does not care for anyone’s soul or morals. No one does — especially in this kind of place. This place is a safe escape to release anyone’s inhibition. People come to this place to indulge in their human desires. Alcohol and free sex — if you are lucky enough. The two combinations are quite popular to use if someone wants to forget or to numb an excruciating pain. Drugs take part but Aegaeon, popularly known as Eon — the dashingly handsome owner of Luna, made sure that drugs are off his property. No dealings of drugs within the four walls of Lun
“Where is this dog?”He raised his hand to the bartender, tending the bar on the third floor to let him know that that he needed to step out.The man covered in a tattoo of dragons nodded his head in Eon’s direction.“We have him in the basement?”“The basement of Luna? My Luna?” He asked with clenched teeth. His eyes have a murderous glint that Ehann hasn’t seen for a while now. His knees shook with the intensity of Eon’s eyes.He may have abandoned his pack and left their world behind, but he is still an Alpha. Nothing could change that. And Eon doesn’t like ‘stray dogs’ poaching his territory. Especially here in his beloved Luna.“We have no choice but to put him in the basement. We don’t want to catch unwanted attention.” Ehann's voice trembles, explaining his decision to have the man snipping around to be temporarily put within the
Frio shivered with the rage that he was feeling from the man that was squeezing his windpipe. He knew that this man was someone that he should never cross. But, what can he do? He wanted to find that woman![“Why do you need to find that woman?”]Eon’s eyes were piercing a hole in Frio’s skull in his mind while his thumb was pressing his trachea and he had no qualms to shatter it if the man would answer his wolf with lies. His wolf was hovering over this pathetic Omega’s wolf and he never felt so good to bully someone weaker than him, other than today. This man brought out something in him that made him his wolf agitated.[“I am telling the truth! Please don’t kill me!”]“Please, I will tell you everything I know,” he whimpered in fear.Eon dropped the man on the dusty floor where Ehann kicked him to the corner of the room.“Talk. You have one ch
Ehann, half-dragging the man who was bleeding on the floor to the special sleeping quarters of the special employees of Luna. There are a few of them that stayed inside the building for protection. At first, Eon won’t agree to it. Until one time, some members of some gang decided to show up to Luna to hunt one of their patrons. Good thing, he and another wolf were on the premises at the time. They were able to contain the situation. But it could have been worse if they weren’t in the building. And that was the only reason why Eon agreed for some of them to stay but to have a rotation. He hates the fact of them gathering in one place at the same time. It reminded him of their old pack and he hated that. “Where is this place?” Ehann was pulled back to the present when he heard Frio’s question. “It’s the sub-level basement.” “Where is the freezer?” He scanned the room and all he could see were bunk beds, a four-seater square table, a sin
“Do you believe that Omega?” Ehann was whipping an omelet in the kitchen of Eon’s penthouse. He was cooking for him even when he didn't want to because Eon hates other people inside his private place. It was just him that was allowed to step foot inside the fourth floor of Luna - the building not the bar. The five-story building was called Luna by Eon even when it was just the bar that was registered as Luna. Ehann was being mocked by the others as Eon’s nanny, and not his Beta—with the things that Eon needed him to do for him. And one of them was to cook him breakfast, every time he had a hangover. “Doesn’t matter if I believe him or not. I’m keeping him because I have a feeling we will need him. How is he by the way?” He walked to the marble kitchen island, his black silk robe was flapping as he walked barefoot on the marble floor. He was wearing a black boxer, a robe, and nothing more. His chiseled body glistened under the fluorescent lamp
When Eon got up from the couch, he grabbed Lina's arm, dragged her from the couch, and slammed her into the wall. His palm slammed against the wall next to her ear. He slapped his open palm against the wall so hard that the inside of his palm stung, but she didn't flinch. Her eyes are fixed on his face as if she couldn't comprehend what caused his outburst. Both he and his wolf were enraged by her nonchalance. However, none of them understand why this woman's coldness and disinterest affect them so much. Although Eon knows he's good-looking, not all women like him. Therefore, he couldn't understand why he was angry when she said he had no chance with her. The Alpha part of his wolf wanted the woman caught between his hot body and the cold wall to submit. Yet, the woman has no intention of submitting. Her eyes were clear with her moist lips agape—like a red rose drenched in morning dew, begging for a kiss. His manhood stirred inside his jeans and Eon felt sham
