The Promises

Katherine felt sick to her stomach when she heard the Luna's statement. This was the one thing she was desperately trying to hide from her mom but in the end, she couldn't even get the chance to tell her the truth by herself.

"Katherine, come and sit with me." Luna Rosette urged as she quickly went and pulled Katherine to sit on the couch where she was seated.

"Your mom was so shocked when I told her about your wedding ceremony to my son. Didn't you tell her about it?" Luna Rosette asked as she ogled into Katherine's eyes, a sly smirk dangling on her lips.

Katherine looked towards her mother and they locked eyes immediately because Mrs. Reynolds was staring at her all along.

An awkward silence ensued and Katherine could see the anger and fear in her mother's eyes.

All she needed to do at the moment was to send the Luna away and have a good talk with her mom.
