Chapter Twenty-Two

“You look lost” 

I turned toward a woman leaning against the side of the lockers of the bus station. Her purple hair stood out against her pale skin, the dark jeans showed off her curves while the cream  sweater and black leather jacket hid her upper body. She had an expression of boredom but her blue eyes held a hint of amusement. 

“The question is do you want to be found?” 

I stared at her for a few seconds and shook my head. I had found a taxi that was off duty and I slid in the back without question. When the old man turned around to yell at me, I bursted out in tears again. He was kind enough to take me to the nearest bus station. He was even kind enough to hand me a bag as my stomach lurched to empty its contents again. I’m sure my red puffy face
