Chapter 200: Expecting

They all started walking back to the palace when all of a sudden Ruby started feeling lightheaded. She lost vision for a few seconds and collapsed.

Eric, seeing her, caught her in his arms. “Ruby? Ruby?”

“What’s wrong?” asked Empress Dowager.

Ruby shook her head and said, “I’m fine. I’m just exhausted.”

“Are you sure?” asked Eric.

“Ruby are you positive child?” asked Empress Dowager.

“Yes. I’m quite positive,” answered Ruby.

As they all got back to the palace, the Emperor shouted, “Let’s have a feast tonight! Everyone from the young to old, rich to the poor. Come join us. Let’s all celebrate!”

That night everyone from all over the Dragon Empire came to join the party.

Ruby sat next to Eric. Eric held her hands in his. He kissed her hand. She smiled sweetly at him.

“What do you feel like eating?”

“I don’t know.”

“What about fish?”

One of the maid brought over a steam fish.

Ruby smelling the fish started to gag. She had the feeling of wanting to throw up.
