Chapter 32: Shadows of Tension

As the physician finished attending to Tony's injuries, James and Tony made their way back to the Billionaire mansion. It was already evening, and Maya, Lily, and Aunt Loretta were engaged in a lively conversation upon their return.

Maya, indeed kept her promise to James when she said that she will wait for him to return.

Joining the conversation, James and Tony added their own witty remarks and shared laughter with the rest of the group. Maya couldn't contain her excitement and hugged James tightly, expressing her love and relief that he was okay.

As Maya moved closer to Tony, ready to embrace him in a hug, he instinctively took a step back, creating a small distance between them. He looked at Maya with a forced smile and said, "Ah, Maya, I've been sweating all day. I don't want to make you uncomfortable with my odor."
