Chapter 10: Are You Following Me? 

Maya took the elevator down to the boss's office. She approached the door and knocked gently, and a voice from inside beckoned her to enter. Maya will glance inside the office and take her head back, she did this act three times.

With slight hesitation, Maya slowly pushed open the door, her gaze briefly scanning the room before meeting the eyes of Mr. James, who was seated at his desk, engaged in writing.

Mr. James noticed Maya's cautious glances and couldn't help but smile at her apprehension.

"Please have a seat," Mr. James gestured kindly, his smile welcoming.

"Thank you, sir," Maya replied, slightly taken aback by Mr. James's unexpectedly warm demeanor. She settled into the offered seat, unsure of how to proceed.

Curiosity getting the better of him, Mr. James inquired about Maya's unusual behavior. "Why the hesitation and restlessness?" he asked, genuine concern evident in his voice.

"I apologize if I appear uncertain, sir. It's just been a challenging morning," Maya responde
