Dan sat anxiously in the waiting room, tapping his foot nervously as he waited for the doctor to bring him news about his wife, Anita.

Finally, the door to the examination room opened, and Dr. Matthews emerged with a calm but serious expression on his face. He approached Dan, who stood up eagerly, his heart pounding in his chest.

"Dan," the doctor began, his voice gentle yet firm, "I've just examined Anita, and I have some important news for both of you."

Dan's eyes widened, and he swallowed hard, bracing himself for whatever the doctor was about to say. "What is it, Doctor? Is Anita okay?"

Dr. Matthews nodded reassuringly. "Yes, she's doing well overall, but I wanted to inform you that Anita's pregnancy is now seven months along."
