Chapter 28
I woke up with my head throbbing as if someone had whacked me with a baseball bat over it last night. I looked around the dark room my eyes adjusting to the minimal lighting. My memory of last night was hazy. I remembered I shifted and Creed was with me.
I was running through the forest my white paws hitting the ground hard. I had smelt something deliciously mouth-watering. The other wolves couldn't catch me they were trying to stop me but I didn't want to stop.
I felt this sharp pain pierce my leg before I went down to the ground. The memory caused me to look down at my leg. It was badly bruised and my skin looked like it was burned.
Where on earth was I. The cell didn't look like the cells below the packhouse. As I sat up looking at the mattress and sheet on the floor. A sense of Deja vu hit me.

A week had passed with everyone falling into a comfortable routine. I sat outside with May and Mia while I watched them play peekaboo. A few months later and our packhouse was rebuilt even bigger and stronger than before. We were lucky that the previous Alpha had a lot of assets and money in private accounts which helped us rebuild.Creed had done what his brothers asked and turned them into wolves. He killed them all. It was never in his nature to take any prisoners. He thought nothing of it as he ran his blade across the necks of the young and old. Mercy was for humans and the things he killed were monsters.The smoke from the gun powder hung in the air heavily as Creed looked over the limp bloodied and battered bodies that lay on the floor. He counted them in his head noting that there was a family of six of these creatures. He stopped at five and then paused and looked to the end of the room."There's only five," he said and his brothers looked at the bodies on the floor and began counting in their heads as well. "The man he's," before Creed could get his sentence out a man materialized out of thin air and ran at him. The man's form glowed emitting a blue ominous light and his eyes were white and crazed.Creed's brothers all moved to help him but the peculiar glowing man paralyzed them with a simple glance, leaving them standing like statues.

It was unusually quiet at the diner due to the relentless storm that raged on outside.
