Chapter 28

I woke up with my head throbbing as if someone had whacked me with a baseball bat over it last night. I looked around the dark room my eyes adjusting to the minimal lighting. My memory of last night was hazy. I remembered I shifted and Creed was with me.

I was running through the forest my white paws hitting the ground hard. I had smelt something deliciously mouth-watering. The other wolves couldn't catch me they were trying to stop me but I didn't want to stop.

I felt this sharp pain pierce my leg before I went down to the ground. The memory caused me to look down at my leg. It was badly bruised and my skin looked like it was burned.

Where on earth was I. The cell didn't look like the cells below the packhouse. As I sat up looking at the mattress and sheet on the floor. A sense of Deja vu hit me.

I jumped up from my bed but then stumbled back. I felt weak and could barely stand but that was not the worst
