I stared down at the pregnancy test placed on my bathroom counter as the timer set on my phone chimed in the background. “Well are you gonna look at it?” Azzie asked me from her spot against the bathroom door frame. When I didn’t respond she walked over next to me, gathering the small test into her hands. “Holy crap!”
I nodded meekly while feeling my hands beginning to shake. My breathing began to pick up speed in short huffs so she pulled me into her embrace.
“Are you going to tell Koa?” I finally shifted to give her a skeptical look.
“Of course I am! Why wouldn’t I?” I hissed. She shrugged while placing the test back onto the bathroom counter.

Recap: “Then do not ever, and I mean ever, lie to me again.” I warned before standing up to join the rest of my family. Before leaving the living room I turned back towards him, speaking up, “Now you can either come be a part of us or you can sit out here by yourself. Recap:Forming a cross over where my heart was located, I spoke, “I promise. I will do as I’m told just this once.” He chuckled while shaking his head.
