LAUREN'S POV

"Tomorrow is the trial of Freya, Kael, and the rest of the people who betrayed us in the past, what do you think their fate will be?" I asked my mate Logan as we sat by the fire, watching the flames dance.

Logan sighed deeply, looking thoughtful. "It's hard to say," he said finally, breaking the silence. "On the one hand, they did betray us and cause a lot of harm. On the other hand, we don't want to become like them, seeking revenge and causing more pain."

I nodded, understanding his point. "I know what you mean. But at the same time, they need to be held accountable for their actions. We can't just let them go free."

"Of course," Logan agreed. "But what kind of punishment would be appropriate? Imprisonment? Banishment? Execution?"

I shuddered at the last option. "I don't think we should resort to violence. Imprisonment or banishment might be enough to show them that we take their actions seriously."
