As they pulled into their driveway, David and Stella were greeted by the familiar sights and sounds of home. Their holiday had been a much-needed escape, but now it was time to face reality again. David, still smarting from the constant attention Stella received during their outing, was eager to get back to his usual routine. Stella, on the other hand, was feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, her confidence still soaring from the praise she received.

The car ride home had been quiet, David lost in thought as Stella chatted about their holiday. She was still basking in the glow of their time away, while David was already thinking about work and the deals he needed to close. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy whenever Stella laughed or smiled, her happiness a reminder of the attention she received from others.

As they stepped out of the car, Charles was waiting, a big smile on his face. "Welcome back, you two! How was your holiday?"
