Chapter 63

A week has passed since Joel left Beatrice's home in the night and he was not reachable at all. Beatrice was worried but she had to bury her head in her new work.

"Sam, my phone beeped, get it for me!" Beatrice yelled from the kitchen and Sam grumbled before taking the phone to her.

"Check the message!" Beatrice said as she keep stirring the food without looking at Sam. Reluctantly, he checked the message and his face brightened as he saw the message.

"It's Joel!" Sam yelled and Beatrice turned to him with a surprised look. "What did he say?" Beatrice asked almost immediately.

"He asked you to meet him in a restaurant in the next street, Ace restaurant!" Sam responded and looked at his sister with funny eyes.

"Is he asking you out on a date?" Sam said and Beatrice didn't quite recover from the shock. Sam walked up to her and hit her.

"He said you should hurry up, he must have been waiting for you, go go go, I will take good care of the house and my girlfriend is coming around"
