Chapter 13: Sold?

Aurora and Gwen finally got to the stop where they were hoping to get a carriage. It was already dark, so they prayed they would find one.

"We've been here for about five minutes now, I don't think we'll get one." Gwen said.

"If we don't then there's no way for us to get back home, unless we decide to walk." Said Aurora. After a good five minutes, Aurora finally concluded that they would have to walk.

"Looks like we're walking." She said, and so, they started the long and tiring journey. Gwen kept complaining about what their aunties did to them. She was upset and so was Aurora. Aurora, at that moment believed that she shouldn't regard them to be her relatives. Though aunt Lisette gave them money, but that didn't change the fact that they both threw them out.
