Waking to life.

KELVIN’S POV

I opened the door and met Charlotte in the bed. I handed her the food Kayla had left and she started eating it immediately and I joined her too.

After our meal, we had a very long and intelligent conversation. Which made me wonder again where this lady came from.

I was really anxious to know everything about her at once.

“How old are you?“ I asked her.

“Eighteen.“ She answered immediately without even letting me drop the words.

I paused for a moment because I just could not get the gist.

“What do you mean by you are eighteen?“ I queried her and she repeated her answer with a beautiful smile.

She looked too grown to be eighteen though, however, I don’t have a problem with that. I just wanted to know which world she came from because that statement bothered me more than anything else.

“Let’s do something else.“ She said and I couldn’t even think of anything creative to engage her with.
