CHAPTER SIXTY EIGHT

A new discovery.

KELVIN’S POV

When I woke up the next morning, I couldn’t find her beside me. We had both slept in the cell and her absence made my heart skip.

I haven’t even been told where she has been all the time I looked for her yesterday and now she is gone again?

I jumped out of the bed immediately and reached the door. Before I could grab the keys from the couch where I had thrown it the previous night, she stepped out of the bathroom.

I took a deep breath and sat back on the couch.

“Good morning, Kelvin.“ She said in a very low tune while making me wonder what was going on.

“Good morning, Charlotte.“ I responded indifferently.

Afterwards she moved back to bed and laid down. Just looking at her made me remember all of last night’s fun and I even wanted more.

That night was one of my best nights but it seems as though Charlotte did not find it that interesting. She was almost crying and I wonder why because it was so much fun for me.
