The scream of the maid was what shocked the house of the count awake as all the servants came rushing out, to see what happened, everyone’s eyes widened when they saw guards carrying up the countess from the floor, with the maid still screaming bloody murder from what she had just seen,

Rose was unconscious and her white nightgown dripped with blood, small cuts around her body bled red but the most prominent show of blood was from her leg, the mid all wailed and cried for the countess as he was rushed to her room,

The guards had come to ask the poor maid who still looked traumatized from what she had witnessed, “what happened? The head guard asked they interrogated her, “what did you see who did you see?”

“I-I just came out to get a glass of water, and I heard a struggled and a thud from upstairs, I couldn’t make it out at first but I saw him, he hit the countess, and he kicked her she fell, from the stairs” she called in almost a whisper as tears feel down
